You attempted a save operation without selecting a Custom Vocalist Waveform.

Use Custom Vocalist Waveform to specify the WAV file you want.

No user vocalist waveform file exists in the specified path.

The waveform file does not exist.

Specify a WAV file again.

This format cannot be used.

Format error

Specify a WAV file that satisfies the conditions of the supported format again.

  • Supported format: 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, up to mono or stereo up to two channels, playback time of up to 10 seconds.

App Data Management Problems

One or more files could not be deleted.

  • Check the connection with the instrument and perform the delete operation again.
  • Stop the operations and processing being performed on the instrument, and then perform the delete operation again.

Some files could not be imported.

  • Check the connection with the instrument and perform the import operation again.
  • Suspend the operations and processing being performed on the instrument, and then perform the import operation again.

Instrument Connection Problems

Check the connection between the instrument and the smart device, and try again.

Some error occurred on the instrument during connection or a transfer operation.

Refer to the connection page of the CASIO website and check the connection with the instrument, and then perform the connection operation again.

Transfer Problems

Exit the instrument’s sampled drum tone setting screen.

The sampled drum tone is being specified by the instrument.

Finish the sampled drum tone setting operation on the instrument, and then perform the transfer operation again.

Stop recording on the instrument.

Recording is in progress on the instrument.

After the record operation on the instrument is complete, perform the transfer operation again.

Lyrics and Vocalists Problems

Can’t import this file.

You selected an unsupported file.

  • For lyrics, select MusicXML data (xml or .musicxml extension), and an LYJ file (.lyj extension).
  • In the case of a vocalist, select VCJ file (.vcj extension).

Symptom

Required Action

The lyric tone list does not sync when I connect my smart device to an instrument, start up Lyric Creator, and import ALL DATA. (Latest information is not displayed by the app.)

Reconnect your smart device with the instrument. This should cause the correct information to be displayed by the app.
