The XW-P1 and XW-G1 synthesizers from Casio made their world debut at the National Association of Music Merchants Show (NAMM Show) held in Anaheim, California.　 From the first day of the show, the Casio booth was crowded with musicians, music professionals, and members of the press attracted by the first unveiling of new synthesizers from Casio in 24 years.

At the NAMM Show, Casio received awards in two of four Best in Show award categories. The XW-P1 and XW-G1 received a Gotta Stock It award, conferred on must-stock products for retailers, and Casio received a Companies to Watch award.

With the introduction of the XW-P1 and XW-G1, Casio moves to a new stage.
